At the end of your life, you will never regret not having passed one more test, not winning one more verdict, or not closing one more deal. You will regret time not spent with a husband, a friend, a child or a parent.--Barbara Bush

Summer: Part 1

This has been a relaxing summer. The first three weeks of June were spent in the swimming pool. Since that time we have had rain and clouds...even rained out Fourth of July. Matthew was on his first t-ball team. He didn't have much interest in playing, but the shirt and cap were "cool". Shannon and Matthew attended a 1-week art camp at Washburn University. Several Wednesdays were spent at the library. Thursdays found us a Gage Park and Zoo. I started training for my first 5K which will take place in mid-July. John made a track at the river property for us to enjoy 4-wheeling. We even finished a few house projects so that we can soon put our house on the market. We hope to find something with a few acres.
